4 Different 200mw Rayfoss Lasers on his site, WHICH ONE TO GET??? Confussed!!!

EDIT: I just realized I posted this in the wrong part of the forums, if a MOD wishes to move this to the "Green Lasers" part of the forum please do so. Thanks! :)

I found 4 different 200mw Green Lasers on Rayfoss site all at $150, only one of them is a tad different as it claims to put out as much as 210mw! The one that is 210mw is non-focusable though, I would much prefer a focusable Laser, and the strongest one out of these 4.

I am sooo confussed as which one I should get? I am kinda leaning towards the long one without the fat head as I like the design (4th one I posted below).

Do different companies make these lasers and Ray just sells them? I don't understand why he would have so many 200mw lasers all for same price?

Below is a link to each Laser, any advise and/or opinions would help tramendously as this is my first Laser! I will be ordering one of these within the next 12 hours.

1. Rayfoss

2. Rayfoss

3. Rayfoss

4. Rayfoss

Thanks MUCH! :)

Which one did you go for in the end?

My man Dusty! :D

Hey my brother, I ended up going with this one Rayfoss

I spoke with Faona and told her I needed "Small Devergence High Power", as advised by one of my good friends on here. She said it would be a good 3 days of testing before getting it out, as she wanted to make sure I am getting the best Laser possible.

I will be writing an extensive review on this laser once received, looking forward to it! :D

what is the difference in one with a torch shape to one with the same diameter all the way up? Does it make any difference to performance?

I'm wandering if i made the correct choice now!, the led light looks nicer & i'm just hoping that the performance in my order will be what i'm hoping for!

I am honestly not sure, but for this reason alone, this is why I ordered the one with the "Bigger Head".

For me, the bigger head means bigger lens, with equals better burn power. This is obviously my own common sense take on it, I could be wrong.

Honestly, I don't think you have anything to worry about, you should be fine man. Please post a Video review of your Laser once you receive it, I would love to see it! BTW, that Video I posted about the other O-Like Laser, that look almost like the one you ordered, they pretty much have the same Tech-Specs, and that Laser was burning matches and popping balloons with no problem.

@Silvershot: Yea, I am emailing Faona right now letting her know to make sure I get the LED Laser. THANKS ALOT!!! :D

The performance of the 2 torch versions should be the same, no matter what their shape is. Faona told me that on msn, when I asked her which of the two she thought it is better. The only difference is the different key lock and the head( protection ring works in a different way ) and of course the LED indicator. Faona also said that most of her customers like the LED version, but this doesn't mean the other one is crap. You don't need to worry about the output power. I think that if your laser burns like a charm and the beam is visible both in daytime and in the time, you possess a very nice performance unit.

As for the divergence, I already stated that it's not what I expected but I don't care at all, since it's not just a "pointer", but also a burner. You can't have everything can you? Except if you pay a fortune on another laser site..

Both Ethermagic and waterface, you chose nice lasers and I doubt you will be disappointed. For $150 it's worth the money. If for any reason you feel that you got scammed, post here so me and Hallu try to answer your questions. However, if you laser does not even work( VERY impossible ), I suggest you email Faona immediately and report the laser's problems.

Peter, what was it you didn't expect?
I thought if its focusable, you get the best of both worlds in that you can focus it on a specific distance to burn & also adjust the pointing dot size!

Mine is from O-like Peter, the 200 mW transformable focusable!

Silvershot, one thing to note is the divergence. Everyone who received the led unit complains about it being near 2mrad. My unit is for sure under 1.5 mrad. Also, I don't know how does the protector ring work in yours, in mine it's like this.

left-closed
middle-open
right-closed

Perfect for me. This way I don't even need to care about the keylock, I would like something like this on the evo pro too xD

I told Faona that I am not satisfied with the divergence and she said i should take a picture of the dot in 10 meters and sent it to her, so she can show it to an engineer?! Anyway I will take the picture and ask for a replacement. Faona did not note that the divergence would suck that much.( of course she didn't, then I would not get the laser ) I asked for a small divergence unit and now that you say everyone who got the led version had 2 mrad divergence I have one more reason to ask for a replacement. It's Faona's fault, since she didn't include the divergence details. Btw, Albert, how do far from the dot should I take the picture with the camera?
