I just purchased a 1.4W blue ice laser from Yobresal and after getting to use it a little, I thought it was time to give it a review (my first review attempt).
Let me start with shipping and delivery. It took a few days for the laser to be shipped but that was due to Yobresal getting far more orders than normal in a short time. I got shipping confirmation on a Friday and the package was at my local post office Monday morning (much faster than I thought). The laser arrived as described with the extra batteries and charger I ordered.
Before ordering the Blue Ice I was looking at a Blue WL product owned by a friend and was considering ordering one of my own until I found Yobresal's Blue Ice. (the price and power difference made the decision easy).
The host looks awesome, has a nice feel and is pretty compact allowing it to drop in a pocket with no problem. The beam is very impressive. Its visible daytime inside and far brighter than I imagined it to be outside at night (put the blue WL product beam to shame). I have not tested the exact power yet as i dont have at meter (working on that one).
If you want to burn stuff.....The beam has good burning power in my opinion. The farthest I have tried to burn with it was about 10-12 feet and it didn’t seem to have much problem, close up it burns really good.
I ordered an extra pair of batteries as I thought a laser of this power would drain them quickly, I have found this is not the case. I haven’t really timed exactly how long they can last but have only changed them once in the 7 days I have had it.
One thing I was a little concerned about was the duty cycle time. Being 2 mins on/30 secs off I thought the ON time was a little short, I have found it is just fine as I don’t need it on for more than 2 mins at a time.
This is my first powerful laser and I only have one other powerful laser to compare it with (friends blue WL) but in my opinion is an excellent build, awesome power, and really good value for money. For anyone looking for a laser like this, I would highly recommend it and the seller (will give +rep). I added a couple of outside beam shots. It was still quite light out in the first pic and I was impressed with the brightness of the beam. Excuse the picture quality, they were taken with my phone.

Very nice beamshots , looks more like 450-455nm range of the spectrum..

Yob's BlueIce lasers are beautiful, enjoy and keep safe..
Goggles are a MUST with such a laser so wear them all the time and use the laser responsibly!!

Im very happy with it. Next im thinking about experimenting with different lenses to see what difference it makes (not that it needs it). I just need to find good info on different lense options.

I dont think you will be dissapointed. If you havent already got any, be sure to get safety glasses before you get your laser and USE THEM.
