The TR-001's terminals are too far apart for any CR2 (15270) size battery. DealExtreme, of course, has a dedicated RCR2 charger for a decent price: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2031

However, it is relatively easy to "shorten" the terminals in order to accommodate the CR2's form factor. I have the same model charger and I just use the bottom barrel of an Aixiz module as a spacer (typically between the anode and the terminal), and it works quite well.

Now, I am by no means an expert of battery technologies or specifications (yet...), so take anything I say at your own risk. I use unprotected RCR2's, and they do not become hot nor can I see any form of degradation as of yet.

Yea the Cr2's will be a little too short. I use magnets from harvested sleds as spacers for charging them.
