I made a proper test load and using my little driver from Aixiz lasers ebay accout. I can only turn the pot from .1 mV to 2.5 mV, what is wrong, I have had this issue with 2 drivers.

I am using aW 18560
4 1n4001 and 1 1ohm. If you know why this is happening, please share, thanks:)

Very sure, and if i did that, it wouldnat make sense because it would be 2500mv :)

What you said THERE doesnt make sense:)

Try with more input voltage than just 3.7V. What do you get with a 9V batt?

Very sure that I didn't measure in Volts. If I was measuring in 2.5 Volts across the resistor, I would be drawing 2.5A, an my test load would be melted through the counter. The Battery is reading 4.2 Volts. It should be plenty. A 9v is not the answer, I am almost sure. I used the 18650 and I got a good reading. I unsoldered the driver and the next morning when I hooked it back up, it was down to the low readings.

There are lots of mistakes you could me making.
One is that the battery does not give enough voltage for the driver and testload.

You will have to go your setup and check everything.

If you use a testload consisting of just the resistor you may eliminate the voltage as a problem.
Did you by any chance leave the DMM wire in the A hole instead of the V hole?

4.2 volts on a red. I thought that was enough. I will try to use just a resistor and see what is up

Is the battery in your DMM good? I know meters can give odd readings when
the batt needs replacement.

You should be getting at least 150mA or more with the config
your testing. It should be able to make the voltage, and even when
it cant, the current should be present, though maybe less than desired...

You just have to go through it again systematically.
Have you tried measure volts on driver in and outputs?

Could you take some nice pictures of what your setup is at this point? I'll be easier to see what's going on.

Some times I am reminded of talking my sister through a laundry machine repair on the phone. :D
"So the machine is full of water ... there should be a small hatch on the lower front of the machine ... yes the thing in there is a filter to protect the drain from cloging up with cloth bits. ... it unscrews"

The resulting screams when the water poured across the basement floor were quite entertaining. :D
(No harm were done.)
