schematic needed!!

can anyone supply me with a schematic using only a momentary switch, a AAA battery holder, a potentiometer, and a diode? if this isn't possible, then can someone pm how i would go about constructing a laser out of only these parts?

also can anyone tell me how i would incorporate a potentiometer into my circuit?
