I got myself in big trouble after pressing a new M140 diode in the copper module. The lensbarrel couldn't fit the module. Not any barrel. The hole was just too small. :(
It looks like the thread was made for the M8 instead of the usual M9.
So the diode need to be remove from the module. A problem arises, there was no room around the diode can for using a diode removing tool. :gun:

First I solder the two diode pin together to prevent damage from static electricity.
I took my Dremel and made two cuts on each side of the copper module. Then I widen the gap with a wig. The diode just pops out.
The diode is safe and the module went to oblivion. :D

this insn't one from the Moh GB is it? doesnt look like it.

I haven't received the Moh modules yet. This module came from the groupbuy from AnthoT.

A wig wouldn't be the same as a cold chisel would it as that is what it looks like happened to that poor module :crackup:

I would rep you for getting it out like that but it says I must spread it around first so till then :beer:

I also used the same method once for removing a LPC-826 from a module with a steel saw! Amazingly it survived, until I killed it :(
