For the flexdrive v5 pot, when you turn it so that it won't move any further does that mean its set at 1.5A?

I am getting one soon, just wondering if I need to tell the seller to preset it for me or i can do it myself this way.

Yeah soldering those tiny resistors requires some precise soldering. It's easy to over heat, and even unsolder them...

But about the pot, it is a single turn pot, but a very tiny and easy to damage little pot. It will turn past the point that it is not supposed to be turned. And can be damaged if you do that.

Also, in the max range setting, the pot is super sensitive at the high end of the range. Most of the time, there is really no adjustment between 1 Amp, and 1.5 Amps in that range. Maybe 1 out of 10 drivers will have some adjustment between 1 Amp and 1.5 Amps in the high range... (this has been my experience anyway)
