Hello everyone. This is my first post, and of course it's a request for help. So, I got a 1 watt power rock blue laser as a Christmas gift. From o-like. It just arrived in the mail today, and in addition to the laser, it came with a battery and a charger and a handy little carrying case, but nothing else... that is, no documentation at all. I thought this was somewhat odd... anywho, my question is, how long do I let this thing charge for? Does anyone have a clue? And does anyone know if this is normal, to receive absolutely no paperwork or any kind of manual or anything? Thanks.

post pix of all your components... but most lithium ion chargers have auto shut off with indicator lights.

Just be sure to get proper safety glasses. This really ins't a safe toy. i hit to the eye with that much power and you will literally go blind in that eye. and constant exposure to the relection of a laser that powerful can affect your vision as well.

And thanks for the quick reply about the indicator light on the charger. I'm pretty sure that when it turns amber, that means it's charged, because it sure is bright now. I haven't actually shone it on anything up close, but pointing it into the night sky, the beam is highly visible. And on far away objects, it's just... wow, I never expected anything like this for Christmas, although I'd expressed an interest in the things.

Usually amber or red means charging and green means charged... If you want to check use a multimeter and have a look at what potential your batteries are at. 4.19 - 4.2 V is fully charged if its lower they are still charging.
