i have a phr w/ a rckstr driver and i ad an old laptop batt suppy for it.(idk i bought everything but the diode and heatsink off someone). so i think it was puting out around 11v+/-1v. seemed to work awsome. now the batt wont hold a charge and drain imediatley. what should i replace it with? any quik fixes? an old power drill batt. 12v.maybe a rc car batt? please help asap. thnx:wtf:

You can use 7.5V-12V with your components

yeah but any sugg on what? i was thinking about an rc car batt. 9.6v or 12v. i have lots of old drill batt layin around. any sugg?

You can use whatever source you want and/or will fit into your housing. There are a thousand different combinations that can give you 7.5V-12V. See what you have or can get. Then decide.

i just wanna make sure that if i use a old drill of flashlight batt that it wont screw anything up. so as long as im under 12v im fine?

and i think that one of the batt is 2A. is that gonna be ok?
