I purchased two 532 nm green modules ( for laser pointers)

When I received I saw a little difference in beam intensity with my old 200 mw green module . The new one are not so powerful as the old one. I rotate a little bit the potentiometer on the microdriver and afterthat the diode did not lights up I tried hard to rotate left and right but nothig . I connected correctly to 16340 3,7 v battery . Why ? I broke the modules ? the diodes ? What could I do now ?

Thank you very much

It is likely that you put too much current through the diode and killed it. This is why you should not try to pot mod your lasers. :(

Pfff I guess is totally wrong to have that mod on micro driver because you could not know exactly how much to turn it . Is like you have a mod specially to break the diode
