I'm not doing well right now and am awaiting a call back from the doctor. May have to go back to the emergency room. The stent that they put in that goes up from the bladder through the right ureter to the kidney is causing me a ton of grief.

I know you are in pain and i kindof feel bad for asking, but do you think i could send you those pills and you could drill the hole for me? I know its alot to ask, but i dont have to tools and im not in a situation to be buying things right now, and i really think this kit is AWESOME, and i want to put stuff into it ASAP lol they are so nice!

Not a problem. Feel bad that you don't know anyone that could make a hole for you.

Oh wait, my pill is weird. It has a hole like 15mm wide! I have no idea why this one is open, but there is already a hole large enough. WEIRD!

Keep us updated I know I'm not the only one in your corner rooting for you to get well soon! Modern medicine can be such a hassle. I took a spill on my motorcycle 2 years ago and just 6 months ago they figured out why my shoulder has been messed up.

Talked to the Doc and I'm going to stick it out tonight and they will schedule to get the stent out tomorrow.

Hey Pete I received my kit today. Man their is a lot little goodies to play with in the ziploc bag for this build and many others. I need to go though my modules again and pick the best one for this special build.

Pman is most kind to members new and old. In encouraging new builders, he breaks things down and makes it really simple to understand. In reality though, he is most experienced with expensive high end builds as well. Each of his builds are modded, metered and voltages checked. A true craftsman and Artist :beer:

I apologize but I completely forgot to tell you that there is a second package on it's way for you with 2 sets of the 3 color pens that I use in my "focusable pen" tutorial. The 405 units are usually around 90mw and the 650 are usually just over 100mw while the 532 are all over the place but likely in the 30-90mw range (although they have high IR content) if I remember correctly.
You will probably get them by Wednesday.
As a bonus because of what you just mentioned about 405, I just ordered you this too

On a side note, I am not feeling as bad as I had been and the stent is on schedule to be removed on Tuesday afternoon and then I'll likely be back to work the next day.
Have been watching the Pangolin Quickshow tutorials online as I will be getting the software for my laser projector from Hak next week. He is taking orders/interest in his 4th GB. Some day hope to save enough to get the expensive one that is being offered that is analog (doesn't make just 7 colors but essentially every color from RGB). I would encourage you all to look into what is being offered. Hard to explain how nice a real projector is. Any pics or videos you have seen DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!!!

You're welcome. I would just use the 532 as pointers and mod the rest.

I have mentioned this before but there's always new members around so I will say that when I post pics of any units they have a label on them that indicates the absolute peak mw reading that I was able to obtain at some point during testing and it has nothing to do with average output. I personally don't believe in labeling for average output ONLY because I am very cautious and label for maximum "danger" level. What this means is I have an Ophir LPM that I use that has very fast reaction time (couldn't recommend more) and if a unit happens to peak right at startup and then drops output and never comes back up again the unit is still labeled with the max output seen.
Measuring 532nm units is basically a pain but you could say I have more experience in this than most especially with inexpensive modules. Some will peak immediately and drop quite a lot while others may start low and then suddenly peak much higher than expected and then there's everything in between.
Since I am not trying to sell anything, I label for max danger regardless of when the peak occurs. If I were selling units I would be graphing to show everything.
Anyways, if I ever send someone a fully working unit that is what the label means. 100mw and above will also have a yellow label rather than clear or black.
