So say it:) Did you mean that as a good or bad thing?

If you are talking about the blue 10440 or the 14500, yes, they will charge up to just about 4.2V. Think they say 3.6V on them but lots of batteries say 3.6 or 3.7V. Think they will hit about 4.17 or so. May have to use a spacer to get them to fit right. Could try magnets I sent. All those batteries were either fully charged or just below fully charged.
In fact, as I was mentioning in a couple posts up I don't have a single battery that has been "broken in" and I must own easily over 100 cells. In other words, those are all brand new. Bet just about anything none of them (including the units) has seen more than a minute run time. I didn't send "used" units. EVERYTHING is brand new.

Just tried to burn a piece of the copper sheet. The adhesive will actually catch fire and burn off, again I used the torch because I couldn't find our lighter.

Just tried a cigar lighter on the adhesive and it just spread it around, don't want to heat the copper to much as to cause oxidation.
Pman have you tried acetone?

As to mistakes in life I've made a few and I have found that living in the here and now, in a righteous way with generosity works well.

All should listen to Pman as he knows of what he speaks.

I hope it's ok to call you my friend Pman.

Yup:)
Acetone might work.... Think I have some too.

Here's a few pics of what I sprayed earlier and stunk up the gargage and part of the house.

I think I just found the solution. Paint thinner.

It didn't take as long as you might think. I used gorilla glue epoxy and an ounce of gitd powder ebay. I mixed in powder until it would not be crazy thick. Instead of doing each groove, I slathered the mixture on the entire body and slowly removed the access with a baby wipe. Boo bam! Looks much more tedious then it actually is. Not easy, but doable. After your package, I needed to prove my own ingenuity ;)

This is the kind of stuff we should all keep trying to share. I let myself get a bit annoyed over some who want to keep their tricks "secret".
Didn't realize Gorilla glue epoxy was clear.
I've got to run out today and pick up a few things so I'll take a look at it.

The one component look a bit yellow but it says dries crystal clear. And I'll always be happy to share anything I might try. In hopes someone has a better way or just want to try if for themselves.

Yes, can't be helped that it dries with a slight yellowish but more white look (at least that's what it looks like using the epoxy that I sent you from Harbor Freight).
It does however give the unit some dimension that is rather pleasing to the eye.
All I did was try it on one of the 2 grooves that are in the couple flashlights I sent you. Have lots of those lights sitting around as I "stole" some of the rubber pieces off of them to make some of the patters you cna see on the bottoms and even the tops of some of the lasers I showed in the pics. At 19 lumens, they actually put out just enough light to not overpower what you are working on and not to big to hold in your third hand (mouth) when needed Lol. Most of my lights are way too bright to use for any kind of close up work.

Good, since Walmart is one of my stops. Need to get a shower in and head out as I would like to get back before the mail comes in case my QS software is in it.

Yup Walmart five bucks or so. With the slight yellow ting the powder has the epoxy dries with a very very hint of yellow. Like I said it's so faint one would not even notice it is there due to the slight shadow the grooves make alone.

I know that gorilla glue is great stuff. But how well does the epoxy work as far as strength? I'm looking for conductive epoxy but it looks like I'm going to be making my own with Aluminum powder mixed in with epoxy. I don't need much so I was going to us Arctic Silver that I need for my heat sink anyhow. What are your thoughts? Does the Gorilla Epoxy foam up like the glue?
