Nova X75 Mode hopping

Well i finally got my Nova X75 but its mode hopping.

What im seeing:
One dot
Two dots together like a peanut (quite often)
Two separate dots (not often)

i know some mode hopping is acceptable but is two separate dots acceptable?

i just wanted to know what you all think. i sent a email to nova but its sunday and i assume there closed today so i wont get a responce until tomorrow.

o and i would have posted pics but i cant yet.

I think you need to get a replacement from nova.

pretty much any mode hopping is bad unless it only does it for like a second

The key here is that you just got it. I worked for 2 MAjor electronics chain retailers for many years, and one thing I noticed is that if an electronic item has problems right away, it is more than likely going to continue to have problems until it dies. That is why i tell my friends to never buy refurbished electronics. Get it sent back fro an exchange, and write down the serial number before you do. Should be on the paper that came with it in the baggy, and on the inside of the front gold cap/

why would i need/want to write down the SN?
