Need Advice on Diode/Driver. Still usable? If so how to do it?

I purchased a laser from laserpointerpro.com a few months ago, and it worked fine for a long time. Eventually I had to adjust the parts inside to get the button to work, and somehow managed to break the diode from the driver. This question may have an obvious answer, but here it is. Can I salvage the diode at all and if so, can I use the same driver. Also which parts of the driver need to be hooked up to the negative and positive parts of the diode?

Looks like that one is done for. I might well be wrong, but... well, might be easier to just bite the bullet and grab a new module instead.

What would be the most powerful module that would fit inside that assembly?

200mW, the larger modules to go over 200mW require a lot more room generally.
