I had my laser turned on on my desk, and it rolled off and hit the ground. Now, it won't turn on. Any ideas on what I should do?

O-like 150 mW cute greenie. Click switch.

Not really, if its a green it's likely screwed. You can try opening it and looking for loose connections, but that's about it.

Those greenies need precise alignment. If you knock some of the glued parts out of place by 1mm, no light. Use your camera phone, or a cheap webcam and shine the laser towards the camera. DO NOT look into the aperture while holding the switch. If you see some "purple-ish" white light coming out of the laser THROUGH the camera, then the electronics are ok, but the crystals are misaligned. If you don't see anything coming out, then it might still be repairable if the only damaged parts are the electrical ones... or both the crystals and electronics are screwed. You can still sell it as a laser host!

It's randomly working again...

Edit: Or not.

Edit: Just saw a green dot when I pointed it on the wall.

Late edit: still not working ever since the green dot.
