You can also just buy the modules, like Ryan mentioned. Then all you have to do is buy the batteries and the host and put it together. Blueray is selling 405s for $40 and reds for $50 or so, several places sell green modules as well. Just another option if you don't want to build your own the first time around.

Modules? You mean there is a 405 diode in an aixiz module connected to a flexdrive? Is the - input connected to the case diode?(the third pin without insulation around it)
What is the difference between a 405 diode and a 803t diode?
Thanks

The pushbutton switches are higher quality. The NewWish ones break alot.
The button is OVAL on a leadlight.
If you take the sticker off a NewWish, the whole finish will come off.
The leadlight is chrome.

So it's all about looks and a cheap button? That's not worth an extra $25 to me...

I was thinking of building a blu-ray leadlight (like the title says lol) but i was just in the GB section and read kenom's thread about the various kryton barrels...and i saw the kryton pocket rocket...he hasnt posted any pictures and hasnt gotten a quote from the manufacturer so do you guys think i should wait on it? How long do you guys think it'll be till he starts selling them? :-?

Thanks

Basically. He charges extra for the flexdrive. Here are the details:

I don't think he connects his case to either pin, so you'd have to do that yourself.

What is the difference between a 405 diode and a 803t diode?

There are quite a few different "405nm" diodes.  There is the ps3 diode (KES400A), the 803T, 4x, and probably more.
