I see more and more people questioning the power of their lasers. I wanna offer my help here for anybody interested in the actual power.




I have a nice Nospin Laserpowermeter with a thermophile sensor able to measure up to 5000mW (5W).

I live in Austria, so this service is more intersting for people living in Europe to keep shipping cost as low as possible. I´ll test your laser just for the shipping costs.

Would be great if more members offer to help people out who don´t have a Laserpowermeter yet and post in this thread.

I´ll help all people with a post-count for people which has more 50 posts. Just cause I don´t want to send my address to everybody (spammers etc.).

The goal is to get members all around the world who are ready to measure lasers fpr other members just for the shipping costs.

This service has been offered , more or less for a long time by most Vets et al here. Just contact a nearest member to arrange. I have done this for a few and it is a good way to pay back and fwd. If you are selling, the metering member , in some cases can also act as middleman. Its a good way to get + rep. the old-fashioned way... by earning it. I cannot +rep DJNY for a while- but he has one coming from me when I can.

only do it to member you trust. i remember reading about daOo, back when he was "trusted" that a member sent him a laser for this and he claimed daOo broke it. but daOo claimed it was already broken.

once you get the laser, you are liable... you can go from trusted member to scum bag instantly

any YOU that takes somebody elses laser to test. don't take offense to what i'm saying. in case there is a mis understanding i am only saying BE CAREFUL to any body that wants to test other members lasers.
