LaserGlow Aries 532nm Pointer, adjustable power tweak?

Has anyone here ever opened up a LaserGlow Aries 532nm green pointer here? I'm wondering whether they just turn the current up or down on the driver to make them lower or higher output lasers from one design?

If so.....how do I open it to work with the driver?

Well, they are CNI made, so they unscrew at the head. However I imagine laserglow secures them pretty darn tight in there. See the attschments in the OP of this thread. If anyone will be helpful on this topic, it'd be UltimateKaiser.

I didn't figure they would tell me any cheats to increase the output power of their products. Maybe they can't be adjusted, maybe they are already at their max output. I don't know how they make these lasers or rate them, how the outputs vary so much, is it purely a binning process, different design, or a combination of binning and where they set the current is something I'd like to know, anyone?

Honestly it's not really worth it. It takes a lot of practice to get in without damaging anything. Usually the pot is already optimized and close to maxed out so you can't really turn it up, and certainly not without losing a lot of life and efficiency. Unless something is wrong with it there's no need to take it apart. Mine the crystal actually fell out of its mount at one point after being dropped, and after rebuilding it only does about 50 mW now, but then again, mine has been around the block quite a few times. It's getting old.

Yeah they are more expensive but they truly are worth it if you have the money. I have had nothing but the best experiences with them. Everything is double and triple checked, it's all top notch.
