Hello,
I wasn't sure if this should go in "Laser Shows" or "Tutorials, Help, and Repairs" but I'm asking for help so here it is.
I was thinking of renting laser shows locally (mainly to a DJ friend of mine) but i wanted the whole thing to be completely legal.
There are laser shows on ebay that say they are legal but I read that that isn't always true.
Ex. of both:
4 LENS RGB DISCO LASER LIGHT VIOLET BLUE DJ PARTY SHOW - eBay (item 170474221818 end time Sep-14-10 07:26:47 PDT)
ILDA warns against potential Intenet and eBay frauds
I was wondering EVERYTHING it takes to rent these legally. From getting it certified to a business license, to keeping track of records of money i make and if i have to pay taxes on it.
I'm only 15 so maybe i don't have to pay taxes on the money I make.
I was thinking that i would rent it to this DJ company and each time a customer wanted to use the laser show, they would pay me commission and just use it(and store it at their company, ect.)
Thank you very much. I look foward to (hopefully) getting this business up and running with your help!
