Hello,
I have the whole spirograph thing down and now I want to move to the next step and build a projector and be able to sync the lasers to music. Is there a how to and parts list I can look at?
Thanks

oh boy you better be ready.
Once you move to a projector you cant go back.
Okay well i would never ever recommend someone start from scratch to build their first projector.
Take a look at the reke 500mw rgb projector.
Search the forums for it.
They will get you started and then you can begin the upgrade process.
Oh also you will need a PC interface and software.
Best and one of the cheaper solutions is LSX and a riya lite dac.

Yes.. but if there's a forum section dedicated to your specific topic it's best to post there. Many (probably all) of your questions have already been answered, so rather than expect us to write it all again, why don't you have a look at what's already there? Not to mention you even asked "is there a how-to and a parts list I can look at?"

Yes. There is. In the laser shows section.

See the link in my signature for some inspiration. This is a DIY hobby version. This is not the complete scanner setup, but the RGV laser part with combining dichros.

It is a challenge to build a scanner from scratch, but very rewarding when you get it to work :) I have a few pictures of my DIY scanner in my profile here on LPF. I still have to build it all together in some kind of casing. The beampictures etc are all taken with a quick and dirty setup on my desktop, but shows the capabilities with tunnels etc very well :)

Best regards.
