Other than the power issues, I notice that you are building a burning laser into a Zippo lighter casing.
You aren't planning on doing something stupid (like on a certain you-rube videos) and use this for lighting your smokes are you ?
The damage to your eyes and the potential to destroy others is unbelievably high under those conditions.

no just for looks and fun. i dont smoke. i lined the inside of the removable housing with rubber so that i wont get any shorts. so back to what i was asking i would have to get a battery that and put out the mAh or batteries in parallel that can right?

I believe you will need more mAh as you put it.
Can you fit two batteries in there ?

is that 12V battery the ones used in car's alarm remotes?
if so that battery is no good.. it uses some of those little batteries found in keychain gadgets...totally not suitable for any high drain usage....

you need either 2x LI-Ion batteries or 2x Li-Po like 18650 or 16340 or 14450...... and you won't be able to fit those in a zippo??? you have to use them externally or change the host with something else... maybe an oversized zippo
