Hello there, my JD-851 500 mW arrived yesterday but with broken diode. Could anyone advise me where to get a new one or similar that will fit in housing (100-500mW)

I'm guessing this is supposed to be a green laser.

Based on the pictures, this module probably is not (and never was) capable of 500mW of green.
Looks like a 9mm IR diode pumping some regular crappy crystals with hardly any mass for heatsinking.

If it arrived dead, get a refund and buy something else.

But perhaps it is not dead.
Give us more info on the laser and maybe we can get it working.
-Where did you get it?
-What batteries does it take? Are you inserting them correctly? (Most green lasers are case positive - meaning negative (-) goes to spring and positive (+) goes to the tail cap)
-Does it make any green light?
-Does it make any IR light? (cellphone cameras or webcams can sometimes detect IR - DO NOT EVER LOOK INTO THE APERTURE OF A LASER WITH YOUR EYES)

I purchased it from some local removed who blames the post services for damage so yeah, nor post not him wants to give refund ... anyways its 500 mW green laser powered by 3.7 V 1800 mAh battery, it does not produce nor green nor IR light whatsoever, I tried inverting battery poles but nothing, also that second glued, I suppose lense, came broken out of the box so I had to glue it again.

I am trying to find similar or the same green diode that could fit in laser housing and hopefully be powered by this battery.

While the IR pump diode may be 500mW, the green output will not be. Maybe buy one from Lazerer or something. It probably won't be 100mW, or if it is, it won't last all that long.
