Its a miracle my laser was dead and now she lives!

My Laser turned on today!!!!!!!!! I decided to try it one last time before pulling the plug and auctioning the body and a giant beam of green made me squint as it tore through the veil of death and into pure 532nm light! I am rejoicing, friends. Rejoicing indeed.

Have you contacted Skylasers ? It is indeed a shame that this laser has died. It is a very good looking TITANIUM host.

I haven't contacted Skylasers OR Jetlasers about it. So Lazeerer can fix 532's eh? Sounds like the kind of person everyone should know haha.

Haha, it would be a pretty amazing host if you could work with it. Sapphire Lens, Titanium build, apparently you can drop it six feet and it stays fine. If I end up not being able to get the diode replaced, rest assured you will see a thread on it.

lazeerer is an awesome guy,,,who knows he might be able to polish that saphire into a diamond:yh: did you notice any degradation before it died? just curious since im new to lasers, what are symptoms of a dieng laser?

Actually no. Although I DID do something stupid. I had it in my car to go star gazing with my GF, and I left it in the glove compartment on accident. I live in texas, and the temperature outside was about 104 Fahrenheit, so in my car it was probably pushing 110-112. I was with my girlfriend so I wasn't exactly thinking about lasers. Then next time I used it my batteries were really low and it didn't lase for more than a few seconds.

So, thinking it was the battery I charged it up and put it back end MAKING SURE THE POLARITY WAS CORRECT(I still remember some things ) but it do anything anymore. I am 89.352% sure it was the heat that blew the diode.

Hope that was helpful....someone please shoot me for mah stupidity.
