im new and need help with blue ray laser

i am really new to building lasers and i am in desperate need of a tutorial on how to build a high powered blue/violet laser that will light matches and pop balloons and all that good stuff. CAUTION: noob

Don't follow his links for parts though, ask around here. You'll get it a lot cheaper.

Have you looked at the COMPLIED LIST OF TUTORIALS? There are about 10 guides to making blu-ray lasers...
