How to drive a c-mount

Where exactly do you connect a driver to a C-mount diode? It looks like it only has 1 pin, so could someone post a diagram to show where to connect positive/negative?

The body/case/heatsink/thingy that you screw hole is usually positive. The flap-lead is usually negative...

Usually. I'm not sure if this applies to every C-mount out there... Snoctony's IR c-mounts are all case positive...
