How do i make a burning laser?

Grr...just read around ... There are literally 100 tutorials on how to make a laser...people won't be very nice if you don't try to teach yourself before asking questions..your answer has been answered many times...

look through the complied list of tuts...
A couple of questions to decide what build to do...
1) What wavelength (color)
2) How powerful
3) Fits in your pocket?
4) unlimited duty cycle? or dont care?
Answer these and then people will start to be able to help you build a laser....

No, a Playstaion 2 diode will not work for burning. You will have to buy a burner diode or High Def diode. As for building it from scratch would nearly imposible unless you have random junk laying around that you can make a driver with and a module to house it along with a heatsink.

ok...dont use a ps2 diode...dont use a ps3 diode either. First go to stonetek.org/hightechdealz.com and look at what they have
i will ask these questions again
1) What COLOR<-- do you want (blu-ray, red, green?)
2) How powerful? I guess you want for burning so atleast 100mW
3) lol...ok do you want the ENTIRE laser to fit in your pocket?
4) duty cycle is how long you can leave it on/how long you have to leave it off for it to cool so the diode doesnt poop out on you...
I could help you build one if you wanted...

Awesome guide for building a Blu-Ray burner. Should cost about 100$, but you could probably save more on certain parts.

its one of the old computer (the ones that are like gray)

2) i whant something that can be able to burn a match or skin

Their are lots of computers that are "grey". What kind of dvd-burner is it?

well, yes, any type or dvd burner will have a 660nm diode that can achieve at least 200mws, which is great for burning....
