how can I build a blue laser pointer

does anyone know howto build a blue laser pointer? I can solder everything together myself, but I just don't know what pieces to buy. I saw the blue ray laser phaser on youtube, but I am hesitant to try it because I don't know if it will last. Is there any kits I can buy? I will primarily use it during power point presentations. I don't really want to spend too much. Thanks

The colour not blue, it is violet but still a very cool colour. I saw a kit on ebay for 10 dollars that you can use. There are plenty of good exampels for home made blu-rays on the forum Good luck!
