When I shine my laser pen it is never just one dot it has lots of little one that are spread around it? Is there any way I could fix this?

You are going to want to put at least one picture up in this thread to have even a remote chance of someone being able to help you.

Update to expand on gregma's post which was definitely a good guess:

Are you talking about your laser looks something like this:

If so then you should have something like this on the front of your laser perhaps:

If you have what the finger is pointing at, then unscrew it counter-clockwise:

Now that you removed the diffraction grating if that is what was going on, you should now have a single dot. I keep mine screwed in when I am not using the laser as an aperture cover to help protect the lens and keep dust out.

My guess is that there is a filter on the laser that does this and should be able to be taken off.
