ok i need help setting up galvos to a serial port like schematics for i have 5v galvos i need help

you cant just link galvos up to th serial port. you need hard and software

you need a dac, there are other methods like converting a sound card.

dac's arent cheap a god one starts at like $500

what galvo's do u have exactly ?
u could use norms laser dac to begin with its 24 dollars and wil do most graphics just fine
it only needs a pc with a printer ports and the software is free

but if u are going to use it profecionaly

u need a dac like phoenix pangolin easylease etc ect

those wil range from 400-1200 dollars
mostly depending on the software.
