[Help] Building a Laser Pointer

Hi Guys,
I'm new in the forum, but I've been reading its posts for a long time.
I wanted to build my own red laser pointer. Here in brazil we don't have so many different stores, so I wanted to use my broken DVD-RW 24x.
I need your help, because I'm a newbie.
I have the diode from the DVD Burner and I'll buy this :
650nm 5mW laser module.3.2V to with lens 650 nm OEM - eBay (item 380152108139 end time Aug-30-09 21:44:28 PDT)

What else do I need ?
My english isn't very good, so I don't understand all the tutorials, but I try.

So, my doubts are:
What else do I need to build a red laser that pops balloons, light matches, etc ?
How much mW would I get with this kind of laser ?
Is this module I showed adequated to my project ?
