Hey,

So, I'm slowly piecing together my first DIY laser, and it's in a dorcy. When I go to put the heat sink on the aixiz module, does it matter how far up it is? Like, should it be almost even with the focus grip, or can it be a bit farther back since I have fat fingers?

Thanks,
-Shammi

If you are using a full body heatsink, it has to be flush because the driver's spring will not reach the battery.

Its not full body, its like a cm (give or take a few mm)... Its just the standard DarkHorse one. Like, do I want it more towards the front of the diode, more towards the back, or should I just try to center it over it as best I can?

Thanks

Oh...
In that case, it doesn't matter ;)
