I plugged one in and parked my truck on top of it, its not working...
:D
Mariomaster had one working using power resistors to simulate a diode array. I'm not sure what or how many he used though, he did say it didn't work too well...

I saw someone using a large brick of resistors to simulate 19 diodes in one, using five left to balance out the white, they were hot enough to boil the pot of water they were being cooled in.

^I believe that was mister Things that did the "pot mod". And as I remember, the pot only became slightly warm. Water has a large heat capacity. (edit: ) by my calculations, even 100W (probably around double what he used, I dunno) dumped into 4L of water would take almost 4 hours to boil IF it was well insulated.

What would one power with it, anyway? I can't think of many devices that need 24-some volts pulsed at 200hz
