I've never bought from rayfoss yet, but many members did and it is truly a good company. Don't know for the goggles, tho. I bought the same from dinodirect for $9 (for aesthetics) and it is more like OD2 or 3.. Maybe rayfoss make a new QC and only the OD5 goes out.

c'mon, spend $10 more at dragon lasers and get decent goggles. for $25 you CANNOT buy yourself a new eye.

for $25 you can buy yourself a new eye.
Really? Where? Do you have a link?
I know a few noobs that used to have 445nm lasers and thought they were protected by cheap safety glasses, and now they need new eyes. :yabbem:
I could pass the link on to them. :undecided:

TYPO, sorry.
who need new eyes, Ash? LPF members?

I don't know how someone that "need new eyes" would use a internet link, maybe with a braille monitor..

don't understand what you mean by "54,6" (your currency). I know it is more than "30", but works out as the same. $30 is $30.. Just get yourself good goggles and don't stick to the cheap ones.

I understand that. I'm just saying that when you buy a goggle, it price will be converted from dollars, to your currency. if you buy a $30 goggle, you will pay 54 (of your currency).

your eyes have no price. not even $10000 (or 18200 of your currency) will pay for "a new eye". Just get some money and get the good ones. JUST DO IT!

i know that...
but its way more expensive
Um. Listen to what we are saying. You can't spend too much on something that prevents injury or death.

Would you take a chance on buying a "discount" seatbelt for your car?
Would you buy a bulletproof vest that only has a "few" holes in it?
Would you rather that we suggest these: ELP - Blu Ray, KTP Green [NR-ELP-00FDA] - $143.50
protection glasses? You could spend over $261,00 for them.
Or spend less and go with ones that will protect you sufficiently: Protection Glasses for 532nm Green Laser
Really, you can not go "cheap" on safety. Protect yourself adequately or risk permanent blindness.

Just don't concern with the price.. In laser hobby you should get the things in that order:

1st - THE MONEY

2nd - THE GOGGLES (QUALITY ONES)

3rd - THE LASER
