Hi ,
The triangular head as you refer to is a focus adapter that Ed Crouse made when he was in the business. Its call an assault focus knob as he named his creation.Boy do i miss that guy he"s awesome ...
So i centers it on the DTR focus adapter that comes with his modules and adhered it to the face of it. to give it some character.

Good to know. Its sad to hear that he isn't making them anymore.

We lost a good machinist when Mrcrouse retired from LPF, if you like that focus adapter, you could check with flaminpyro, or Ehgemus, both do excellent work!

Yea Ed Crouse is a great man for producing fine exotic hosts. He made many for me and i miss the guy. We still have many fine master machinists and don't forget the guys who make all these awesome drivers. Here at LPF. We are very fortunate To have them.
