Will this dorcy flashlight work for stonekat's driver, module and diode kits?

If it is a dorcy metal gear then no..it uses three batteries. You need to use 6 with the LM317T. Or you could use 2 li-ion batteries. The best solution with that flashlight would probably be the AMC7135 driver.
