so i found a laser diode and i plugged it in my homemade driver and i started to roll my potentiometer to less resistance broblem was that wire from battery to driver didnt connect wery vell (cut in a middle and with hands pushing wires together) it didnt seem to ligth (i had camera to see if it was an ir diode)and suddendly when i moved wires it ligthed and turned off. i havent been able to ligth athat diode again. so is my diode "burned" now?

lol what a typo in title xD

Yes, check the current going in the circuit, and measure the voltage over the diode pins.

Since you don't get any current or voltage it seems like either the battery is dead or the driver is.

batteries are not dead they run in 6V but what about driver i made that myself with DDLs instructions
