I ordered a laser module from eBay and the one i received looks nothing like the one i ordered :( . They are sending the correct one and also letting me keep the wrongly sent module. Although, i have no clue what it is, how to use it or anything about it really.

Any information about this module would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks.

It is the same green module but with different wire connections. Mostly this one is used in a standalone lab module and the spring version one is used in a pen host.

nope, i think the yellow is to monitor or control something(TTL?). but to get the laser to work you wont need it.

If it's for a lab module, the yellow wire would be for modulation. You _may_ need to connect it to + for the laser to turn on. Most modulation signals are logic level - 5V.
