Does anyone here have an LPM in Montreal? WL S3K 1W needs a test.

I have just bought a Wicked Lasers S3 Krypton 1W, and I've been getting a lot of flak for it in the Reviews section. I would like to see what the actual power rating is, and find out just how badly they screwed me. Once again, I'm in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I do not own an LPM. Thank You in advance to anyone who can help.

Halifax, if that helps. Happy to cover the return shipping - just for the experience of seeing one of these up close.

You could try contacting LPF Members Rangedunits... he's in Laval
or QU1CKF05T3R.... he's on the South Shore.
Both have LPMs...

Or you can send it to me... I'm near Riviere Beaudette.

You know what I just realized? I go to one of two major universities daily, and I'll be damned if either Concordia or McGill doesn't have an LPM. I'm sure either one could help me out if I ask the right people. If not I'll ask either of the two users you mentioned. Also, I was thinking of buying my next laser from here instead of from Wicked Lasers, any thoughts? Is laserer really always overspec?

I don't know about Concordia... But I went to the McGill Laser
Lab a few years ago and found that the most accurate and up
to date LPM in the Lab was the LaserBee I I brought with us.

I wanted to more precisely calibrate our LPM to their LPM.
Turned out it was an old Analog Optical LPM that was last
calibrated in 1972 IIRC.
Let me know what Concordia has for LPMs....

I would buy a Laser from Lazerer as well. Max uses a LaserBee to
produce his Laser Power Graphs...
