Hi, i just stumbled on this ebay auction

http://cgi.ebay.it/10-LOT-405nm-Las...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

and trying to imagine what type of sleds are these ones ..... the auctioner masked the part numbers, and i've not had in hands any of these before, so just trying to imagine if as auction can be a good thing, or if is just a waste of time and money (i'm suspicious, cause if the auction was not a bullshit, there was no reason to mask the part numbers, for not let the buyer check what the sled is ..... or i'm wrong, thinking this ?)

well he could have "borrowed" them from the manufacturer, if he was an employee. or a recycling company could have gotten a contract to scrap all the old HD players from a manufacturer. and the seller/scrapper saw that there is a market for these sleds.

No worries.

I got that from the eBay listing, where it says:
"The laser diode is labeled "B0323" which, according to discussions on a laser group, have been safely tested up to 110 mW at 110 mA."

Those are B0323 sleds and they do have a decent diode in them. I have bought several of these sleds and have made several violets with power, in my opinion, equal to that of the 803t at 125ma. Just a note though, the diode is not as easy to remove from its heatsink as the 803t.

They are like a 4x blu ray burner. I tested one of them and max output was 200mW but this was at like 400mA. it lasted for about 10 seconds then died.

stable output was around 140-150mW at like 180-200mA.

thanks,
