Hi everyone, I seem to have broken the positive pin on the lpc-815 open can dvd burner diode. It protrudes 1.5mm from the back of the diode. Is there any way to fix this?
I thought that I could make the diode case positive by soldering a bridge across the broken terminal to the back of the diode. Will this work?
Should I just buy a new diode?
-will post pictures as soon as I can
