Hey guys, I have recently spotted a few black circles that are clearly visible when the dot size of the laser is enlarged. In other words, when the laser is focused like a torch light, I get the following laser dot:

Can anyone identify the problem here? I thought that the lens wasn't clear, so I applied some alcohol to a cotton q-tip and cleaned the lens is circular motion and then dried it off but it didn't work so i tried using an lcd cleaner but that also didn't work. Can anyone help me solve this irritating problem? Also, just for your information, the dot shape has change a little since I first received it. It used to have a rectangular/oval shape, but now is starting to look more like a circle again. I have no clue regarding what might be going on with this laser...
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Lens is dirty, If you can, try to get to the other side of the lens and clean it, those are pieces of dust.

Also try compressed air on the front.

Yup, dirty lens from the burning stuff.
Try compressed air first, then lenspen cleaner if you have it.

Alcohol and q-tip - careful with that. Cotton will scratch your lens, don't press too hard. Use high percentage alcohol, don't let crap get in the lens again.
