I agree that the Sanyo 18650 batteries are very worth the price and hold a long charge. I don't really know much about the lighthound batteries, but I have been recently trying to research the 3100mah 3.7v batteries. So far I have come to the conclusion that the AW is the best, and I am looking at the EagleTac and also the Panasonic. I have found on other websites that these are supposed to be very good and are what many laptops use for battery power. The only problem is the AW 3100 mah batteries cost about $20 each and the others cost somewhere around $11 each, and that is including ebay.com.

I'm getting some Trustfire 2400mah 3.7v batteries soon and I will try those out to decide if they are worth mentioning. These batteries were only about $4 a piece. I have the sanyo 2250mah batteries and they are very good and cost about $5 each. This is what Wicked Lasers uses for the Arctic laser which gives it such a long run time.

There are several "name brand" 18650 cells that offer good performance.

I like the Sanyo, Samsung and Panasonic cells.

All of them have U.L. 1641 testing.

I prefer without protection PCB for lower Internal Resistance,

and greater reliability.
