You don't need to, and even if you did it wouldn't help much if any. Plus it would cost you more using the amount of arctic silver you would need to use, than to get or make a heatsink.

So do I...I also have the ones DX sells and a couple of the tiny brass ones. The one you have will provide adequate heatsinking for the diode even running the diode with 250ma's. Just watch the duty cycle...a minute on...minute off...something like that. ;)

can i hot glue my solder points for protection just in case they bump eachother in my case, and make them a little bit stronger, or is hot glue a bad idea?

I have never used any glue. If you do a decent job of soldering you will be ok.

There is shrink tubing specifically designed for that purpose, shove it over the solder joint and it reduces size to about half.

As for filling the module with any kind of thermally conductive compound: it will not do you any good at all. Perhaps the thermal capacity is raised a little, but for continous operation only the external surface area and composition matter. A simple TO-39 heatsink can bent bent around the aixiz module greatly increasing its cooling capacity at very little cost.
