If I buy 8 aaa rechargable 900 mah and put them in a 8 aaa battery battery holder it would all add up to 9.6 v but a ton of mah so would my rkster driver be able to handle it?

I want to rty powring a rkster driver with this and that powering a 6x diode at 180ma so would this

WILL IT WORK and if not why not and what else I do get a around 9v powersource but not a 9v battery cause they suck.

Sounds like it would work to me. The battery will put out as much current as the circuit allows no more. You could have a infinite mAh battery which would work fine. You should only notice the batteries lasting longer.

(8 x 900) / 180 = 40 hours with each charge in an ideal situation. Although at 9v the regulator would get very warm.

May I point out that because you put the batteries in series, effectively all you are having is a 900mAh 9.6V battery. It will NOT last longer!

It doesn't work that way! Parallel arrangements of batteries would allow adding up of capacity, but not voltage, while series arrangements (which is what you are doing) would add voltage and not capacity.

At 180mA, this battery pack will last you 5 hours which is not too bad. (900mAh/180mA = 5 hours)

If portability is not an issue, for an "infinite" power supply, use a 9V supply that is plugged into the mains. Just buy one from the DIY shop or supermarket, and cut off the adapter plug (not the one that plugs into the mains, the OTHER end). Connect those bare wires in what ever way you want.

Ooop, my bad. You would get a boost in either voltage OR current based on the arrangement and not both :-[

I'm glad someone here was paying attention ;)

Haha yea, well, I was worried that he might not notice what I posted with two people already agreeing. Hope it didn't sound like a shout ::)
