Hey, i bought a fully set up 445 unit from someone who bought it a while ago from garoq

im wondering if anybody can help me fix it if i paypal you and mail it to you like overnighted

soooo...i was cleaning it and i accidentally broke the diode {cracked lens }

so..i removed pill assembly and the one of the wires coming out of the 1.25A buck driver inside the pill broke off ..(one of them.. the other looks loose)

so im left wiTH:: a broken 445 diode in a axis module and in a heat-sync(which i dont have the allen wrench to remove off the module)
AND:: a pill containing a buck driver which has one of the leads broken off of it.

is there anywAY i can send it to somebody like overnight shipping on monday and you can fix it and get it running again?

heres a pic

It might be possible to completely remove the diode window, and as long as nothing inside is broken it will continue to work. hopefully a member will step up to help you out. I don't like to repair other peoples work unless it's a last resort.

I have tried removing the window and it worked perfectly for 2 seconds after that

but then something shorted and smoke came out the diode

update guys
i got the heatsync off the axis module finally!!
and i got the diode out of the axis module...

so it looks like i will need a NEW** pill w/ round 1.2A driver connected to a NEW**diode, and i should be able to pop it in the axis module and put that into the heatsync myself..

waiting for Garoq's pm to get some parts :)
