Did you pay for extra shipping? And what do you mean nm changes the color of the beam? :-?

Well SenKat is in Texas, and I live in Minnesota. When I ordered mine it took about 2 weeks to get here, but it was the holiday season. If you live in the US it usually takes a week, but since you're in Canada I'd say 2-3 weeks, I really don't know.

Our eyes are more sensitive to green light, so even a 20 mW green laser might appear brighter than a 150 mW red laser.
Here's a chart:

Green isn't the most powerful, it's just more visible to the human eye, you could have a 500mW infrared laser, you could barely see it but it could burn just like any other 500mW laser. Go to youtube and look up infrared laser.
For your other question, it depends on how mucht current you put in the diode, that's why I posted the graph, say if you put 150mA into the diode, it might give 100mW, if you put 250mA it might give 175mW.
Most people here drive they're senkat diodes at 250mA, that way you have a really good burner, and you get a descent life time.
Oh and I don't know everything, I've only been here a couple of months doing some reading. There's a whole bunch of people here who know a lot more than I do. But thanks. ;D

You need to build a circuit driver for it, here's a thread on how to build one:
http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1185701612
You have to build one if you want your diode to live a long happy life, don't do the kipkay mod, your diode might die in a few days, maybe MINUTES.
The driver regulates and limits the current to the diode so it doesn't die.
Don't worry you'll be able to do it, when I started looking in that thread I had absolutely no knowledge of electronics, just do some reading and you'll fugure it out. ;)
