Smallest <5mw Module?

I'm looking for a very small <5mw red laser module. I purchased this mini Portal Sentry Turret and I want to replace the red LED with a small laser module to give it a more realistic feeling. Would this work? All that powers the unit is a small penny sized watch battery, and I never did anything like this before but I have the technical skills to install/solder it.

Here's a pic of it, measure roughly 1.25" long, .8" wide and 3.25" tall.

And here's a pic of the inside, it's a bit tight ;)

Thanks :)

I think the space is enough for the head of the Aixiz module. and there is a room for a small driver.. (the aixiz diameter might be too large though, you might need to make some drilling :D)

there is no room for a heatsink.. you should limit your power and runtime ;)

and the other hand if you have access to a lathe (or ask someone who has) to make you a small an aluminum/copper heatsink in which you could direct press fit the diode in.

that will be hell a lot better than just the aixiz (which is brass I think).

Here is a very small red Laser complete with a tiny Driver..
It runs at 3 Volts and 30mA..
I'm not sure how long your small battery will last running this
Laser....

I don't think he needs a HeatSink for a <5mW Laser... The Laser
I linked to needs no additional heatsinking...
