Smallest <5mw Module?

there is no room for a heatsink.. you should limit your power and runtime

and the other hand if you have access to a lathe (or ask someone who has) to make you a small an aluminum/copper heatsink in which you could direct press fit the diode in.

that will be hell a lot better than just the aixiz (which is brass I think).

I don't think he needs a HeatSink for a <5mW Laser... The Laser
I linked to needs no additional heatsinking...:beer:
