which one is better?
laser pen or industrial type ? (same mw)

i've heard that green are more visible than red, if i compare 150mw red with 100mw green, how is it?
because i have 30mw green and 100mw green are about the same visibility..

The "industrial type" is referred to here ,as a labbie. Or lab style. Because of the better heat-sinking/cooling and the steady regulated power supply, Labbies are much better.
You can run a good one with no duty cycle (hours at a time)
Pointers have a duty cycle of 30 sec. to 3 mins. before they get hot and lose efficiency.

100mW of green will completely drown out 150mW of red.
10-20mW of green will look as bright as 150mW of red. (or more)

As far as comparing G to G it takes 4X the power to look 2X as bright.
It's hard to tell a big difference with green. My 85mW does not look much brighter then my 35mW.

Comparing a labby to a portable is like comparing apples and oranges.
First determine what you want to do with a laser... that will help you decide which one is better for you.

If your 30mW and 100mW greens look the same, either the 30mW is over-powered, or the 100mW is underpowered... or both.

Currently I am working on making one of my lab lasers into a portable, it will be a tad bulky, but I can leave it on for a long time.

I like apples AND oranges, both are quite tasty.

Can't really compare the two, but I would use a pointer for "fun" and a labbie for study/long-term needs.

thanks for the answers,

how about this :

150mW 405nm Blue-Violet Laser Diode Module with Driver - eBay (item 280432875514 end time Mar-02-10 18:00:54 PST)

I only need 9v / 12v battery to light it on, is that right? or i'm gonna need something else?

and he says "This module use adjustable acrylic lens..."
will it melted? out of focus? do i really need to adjust to make it constant straight?
what is the difference with the glass lens? and when i'm gonna need glass lens?
100mw green use acrylic or glass?

A little 9v radio battery will drain really quickly.

I used to drool over those ebay listings too until I joined here, I think you can do so much better for yourself by looking in our for sale section right on this forum.

Apples and Oranges: A Comparison

Edit: Sorry, I really couldn't resist.

That was not even necessary bud.

Both are round(ish) both are fruit, both grow on trees, both have seeds, both make very popular juice drinks, both contain natural sugars, both trees grow blossoms, both hurt when you are struck by one at high velocity, you can play stick ball with both, stepping on either while running down stairs will usually make you fall down, both will roll down a steep slope, if I put on a bra, put an apple on one side, an orange on the other side, could you tell which side was which?? I could go on all night with this.....
