New SmOC build, recommend me a driver please.

I was leaning towards this one.

I plan on using a AW 14500 to power it (4.2V).
Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm going to push this to probably 450mA and will be using 650-G-1 lens. Time for some power!

Well the one you linked is a boost drive and will only work if the voltage drop of the diode is higher than your input voltage.

I've been wanting to try this one:
660nm red laser diode driver (HTV Inferno 2.11) | eBay
It is a true buck not linear so it is very efficient, and it has low battery indicator! Just know that I haven't tested it yet (or anyone else as far as I know).

Only remember that the driver is NOT current regulated ..... it's a voltage regulated driver.
