Here is what i was to achieve with my project. I want a laser with the output of at least 200mw to 250mw + I have a driver that fits into an aixiz module. Right now it is set to 200ma. I have a housing I have the cr123 batteries. I need a log open can diode and the driver that will get me to what mw I desire. Now I am new here and sifting through all the data you guys have provided all though there is a lot of good information out there I get a headache when I am trying to find the right one and do the project. So if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.  Because I dont have testing equipment and just want to make one good laser right now I need someone that has finished a project to sell me a diode LOC red and tell me what ma to set the driver at. I figure around 360ma should get me the desired result but I still need to get the right diode. Thanks.

420mA is the sweet spot for these long open can diodes, at that current they should put out around 240 - 250mW with the acrylic lens the aixiz modules have.
I assume you have a rkcstr driver, if so you could buy a 400mA fixed output drive, or you could get an adjustable one.

yeas. I have one of the rkcstr drivers. So if I set it to 400ma than I should be able to reach my goal. Do you have one of those ld,s for sale? I would get one from newegg but I am in canada so i need to find a place with the driver for harvest.

At 400mA it should still output above 200mW.
And no, I'm not selling any. Try pming TheMonk, he used to sell lots of long open can diodes.
